Eddie V. Romero (Ed Romero) started creating jewelry in the early 70's and continued on till the mid 80's. The first part of his career was spent designing jewelry exclusively. While traveling to shows and galleries around the country, his design talent attracted the attention of Doll House Miniaturists who encouraged Eddie to create a line of miniature tableware in silver. Inspired by Spanish colonial silverware, he designed a complete collection of flatware and hollowware in miniature. He was invited to exhibit his collection to the world of miniaturists at the National Miniature Collectors Expo in Washington DC. His presentation attracted interest from all over the world and so a new career ensued.

In the late 80s Eddie was asked to utilize his marketing and bilingual abilities to help market an imported wood-fueled water heater from Mexico. This new venture soon demanded all of his time which led to putting his silver smithing tools in storage.

Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and currently living in Denver, Eddie is now retired.
